# Welcome James Cammarata

Hi project list,

I’m super excited to share with you all that James Cammarata is joining AnsibleWorks today.

As you all may know, James has been running the Cobbler project and community for the last several years, and has done an amazing job with it, and was a major contributor to the project when I was running it well before that – see [http://cobblerd.org](http://cobblerd.org). Cobbler is used to deploy metal servers and virtual machines all over the planet, from the top level international DNS system, compute grids, render farms, aerospace, banks, and gaming systems like the servers underneath Modern Warfare.

James is going to be doing a lot of the same things we does with Cobbler for us with core Ansible and helping out with the mailing lists and IRC and you’ll be seeing more of him in the coming weeks!
