Hi,

Not sure if anyone has ever tried to do this: I’m trying to add a VM in ESXi to a specific VM group in a cluster. I stumbled on [vmware\_vm\_vm\_drs\_rule\_module.html](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/2.5/modules/vmware_vm_vm_drs_rule_module.html) which seems to try to do the job but looks more like a sledgehammer!

It deletes and recreates the VM group even if it exists! (when state=present)

It seems there’s no functionality to simply add a new VM to an existing VM group, without having to recreate the group and repopulate all the VMs

Will appreciate any ideas if anyone has been able to do this

Thanks
