# Using collections in AWX

Hi,

my current understanding for collections in awx is that collections are loaded via requirements.yml before every job run. Ansible Galaxy connectivity must be available at all times to ensure that jobs can be run. As I see it, this is a major dependency and risk. Are there any plans to implement a caching or pre-loading of collections in awx?
