I am trying to use ansible-test to test my collections. So far, ansile-test seems too opinionated of a tool for general-purpose use. For instance, I am trying to use a custom yamlling config with it but i cant find a way. Is this supported?

It is not supported. The goal is to create full community standards, not meant to be per organization configurable.
