# Updating existing route tables

I have successfully created a VPC B and now I want to peer VPC B and VPC A.

In VPC B I can add the vpc\_peering id in route table, but struggling with how to update the route table of VPC A with the vpc\_peering id.

Tried using below play:

> connection: local  
> gather\_facts: no  
> tasks:
> - name: update route table of VPC A  
> ec2\_vpc\_route\_table:  
> vpc\_id: vpc-5becdjn87  
> region: us-east-1

But getting error as:

Could anyone please help me on this.
