# unable to send a file to target machine using git file

While running below command in ansible i ma getting an error message.  
please help me on this

$ansible stagserver -m git -a "repo= [https://github.com/ansible/ansible-examples.git](https://github.com/ansible/ansible-examples.git) dest=/tmp/testfolder "

ERROR! this task ‘git’ has extra params, which is only allowed in the following modules: shell, win\_shell, include\_vars, add\_host, raw, include\_role, meta, set\_fact, include, import\_tasks, script, import\_role, include\_tasks, group\_by, command, win\_command
