# Unable to save changes to Variables section of a Template in Controller/AWX

I am editing the Variables section of an existing Template, and it’s refusing to save comments. There’s no error or anything. I push `Save` and I see the Template again, but my changes disappear. Has anybody seen anything like this before?

Do you have necessary permissions for the template? Also verify to which org does the template/project belongs to.

This is mostly related to access/permission issue.
