Would anyone be interested in a meet up around the Birmingham area?

Hi @Kevinwincott , thanks for looking into extending the Ansible meetups to your region!

I moved your topic to the #Social Space channel, as the #Events is actually a calendar for actual events.

This could potentially go to #Project Discussions too, but we might need to review the Meetup Organizers channel policy instead and make it open for meetup/event organizing discussions there. While we review this, let’s keep it here and see if we get people to chime-in!

Perhaps… but a Sheffield one would work better for me! 😉

I’m in the UK and part of the Ansible Community Team at Red Hat, would love to help build up something outside of London.

I found this post as I’ve just started a new thread.

> Hi folks, It’s been a long time since we talked about Ansible Meetups, so I thought we should fix that. Some of the ideas head follow on from the great discussions we have around [reducing fragmentation in the Ansible Communication platforms](https://forum.ansible.com/t/proposal-consolidating-ansible-discussion-platforms/6812). Summary We have migrated the active Ansible Meetups to a [new home on Meetup Pro](https://www.meetup.com/pro/ansible) to create a shared space for Ansible users, practitioners, technologists, and all-round automation enthusiasts. Meetup Pro allows us to connect Ansible events on a global scale…

Love to get your ideas on that
