# Trying to create multiple groups, receiving generic YAML syntax error

Hi Lars,

Looks like you need to start the play with “-” as the indent of 3 spaces to start is weird.

Take a look at [github.com/ansible/ansible-examples](http://github.com/ansible/ansible-examples) for a few examples.

Also for future reference this is probably a topic for ansible-project (user and playbook questions) versus ansible-devel (topics related to development of new ansible code or plugins).

Let us know if you are still stuck after taking a look at examples and we should be able to get you sorted out.
