> To allow the community to share and develop AI tooling for Ansible, we’d like to propose a new ansible-community repo for collaboration.
>
> **Key Principles**
>
> - **LLM-agnostic:** works across AI platforms
> - **For all:** This isn’t just about Ansible Collection development, though all of Ansible
> - **Community driven:** contributions not just welcome, but encouraged
> - **Community maintained:** not Red Hat Supported
> - **Iterate fast:** expect rapid evolution as the space matures
> - **For practitioners:** these are tools for Ansible developers, by Ansible
> developers
> - **Use if you want to:** complementary to existing workflows, never mandatory
>
> See the [forum post](https://forum.ansible.com/t/proposal-new-repo-for-ansible-ai-collaboration/45575/1) for details on what existing skills would fit here and how you can help.

### New CI requirement for included collections

[andersson007\_](https://matrix.to/#/@andersson007_:matrix.org) said

> The Ansible community and its steering committee have discussed and introduced a new Ansible community package collection inclusion requirement. If you maintain a collection included in the Ansible community package, please add testing against the devel or milestone branches of ansible-core to your CI if you aren’t already doing so. This requirement ensures that you find out about new linting requirements and compatibility issues between your collection and ansible-core early. See the [forum post](https://forum.ansible.com/t/action-required-for-ansible-package-included-collections-ci-add-test-runs-against-devel-or-milestone-branch-of-ansible-core/45599) for details.
