## Major new releases 🏆

### Antsibull [↗](https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull) docs 2.23.0

Tooling for building the `Ansible` package and collection documentation.

[Felix Fontein](https://matrix.to/#/@felixfontein:matrix.org) said

> antsibull-docs 2.23.0 ([https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull-docs/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#v2-23-0](https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull-docs/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#v2-23-0)) has been released. Its Sphinx extension has two new roles, `:ansoptref:` and `:ansretvalref:` that allow to reference options and return values of modules, plugins, and roles with explicit titles. This can be used in extra docs or the Ansible docsite.

## General news updates 🔈

### Unmaintained collection: `netapp.santricity`

[mariolenz](https://matrix.to/#/@mariolenz:matrix.org) contributed

> It looks like the [netapp.santricity](https://github.com/NetApp/santricity) collection is effectively unmaintained. According to the current [Ansible Community Package Collections Removal Process](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/devel/community/collection_contributors/collection_package_removal.html#identifying-and-removing-an-unmaintained-collection-that-has-not-been-deprecated-by-its-maintainers), we consider removing it in a future version of the Ansible Community Package. Please see [Unmaintained collection again: netapp.santricity](https://forum.ansible.com/t/44890) for more information or to announce that you’re interested in taking over the maintenance of (a fork of) `netapp.santricity`.
> At least one month after this announcement appears here and in the [collection’s issue tracker](https://github.com/NetApp/santricity/issues/31), the Ansible Community Steering Committee will vote on whether this collection is considered unmaintained and will be removed, or whether it will be kept. If it will be removed, this will happen earliest in Ansible Community Package 15. Please note that you can still manually install the collection with `ansible-galaxy collection install netapp.santricity` even when it has been removed from Ansible Community Package.

### Unmaintained collection: `netapp.cloudmanage`

### Review Ansible Meetup Strategy

[anwesha](https://matrix.to/#/@anwesha:ansible.im) contributed

> The core message is that Ansible meetups are crucial for the ecosystem’s strength and community building.
> Because of the recent migration to [Meetup Pro](https://www.meetup.com/pro/ansible), which enhances global visibility, it is now time to finalize a comprehensive strategy. This new strategy will establish clear guidelines and rules to better support and grow the meetup initiative worldwide.
> The community is asked to review the [proposed strategy PR and provide feedback directly there](https://github.com/ansible-community/meetup/pull/17).
