## Major new releases 🏆

### Ansible-Core [↗](https://github.com/ansible/ansible)

The `ansible-core` package contains the base engine and a small subset of modules and plugins. To see what’s planned for the next release, look at the [`ansible-core` roadmaps](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible-core/devel/roadmap/ansible_core_roadmap_index.html).

#### ansible-core 2.19

### Antsibull [↗](https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull)

Tooling for building the `Ansible` package and collection documentation.

#### antsibull-docs

[Felix Fontein](https://matrix.to/#/@felixfontein:matrix.org) shared

> antsibull-docs 2.19.0 ([antsibull-docs/CHANGELOG.md at main · ansible-community/antsibull-docs · GitHub](https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull-docs/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#v2-19-0)) has been released with a bugfix and new features. The extra docs linter now checks whether toctree entries actually exist. There’s now also a new subcommand, `antsibull-docs ansible-output`, which allows to render RST code blocks with `ansible-playbook` output. This allows to generate output in documentation from playbooks/tasks that are also part of the documentation, without having to manually execute playbooks and copy the results over into the docs.

### Ansible Community Package [↗](https://github.com/ansible-collections)

The `Ansible` package includes `ansible-core` and is a batteries-included package that provides a curated set of Ansible collections. See the [Ansible roadmaps](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/devel/roadmap/ansible_roadmap_index.html) for future release plans.

#### google.cloud removal cancelled

[mariolenz](https://matrix.to/#/@mariolenz:matrix.org) shared

> The [vote on canceling the removal of google.cloud](https://forum.ansible.com/t/8609/18) is over. Everybody who voted was in favor, so we will not remove the collection from Ansible 12.
