Hi all,

Next week I’ll be attending a [systemd](http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/) code [sprint](https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/cee28a21tk5lfv0u224kj6pa930/115547683951727699051), the specific goal of which is to improve [journal](https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1IC9yOXj7j6cdLLxWEBAGRL6wl97tFxgjLUEHIX3MSTs) support in the native libraries. This includes Python of course, and the others are talking of integrating into tools like Chef.

I see that the service module has gained compatibility with systemctl recently. Are there any outstanding tasks there that people would like done?

Otherwise, the module\_common.py code could be adapted to log to the journal if it exists on the target machine. That seems like the logical first step. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Regards,
Mark
