# sudo\_exe deprecated in 2.8 use become\_exe

Good day,

I have an alternate location for my sudo command for root. When I set the path in ansible.cfg my command executes correctly however I get the warning listed below. I changed this path in ansible.cfg using sudo\_exe.

[DEPRECATION WARNING]: DEFAULT\_SUDO\_EXE option, In favor of Ansible Become, which is a generic framework. See become\_exe. , use become instead. This feature will be removed in version 2.8. Deprecation warnings can be  
disabled by setting deprecation\_warnings=False in ansible.cfg.

However there isn’t any documentation related to become\_exe. Do I just replace my alternate path in my plays?
