I’ve seen a couple of posts here and in other places on line. I’ve been having problems with a new installation of AWX on my home kubernetes cluster.

Unfortunately the short installation instructions don’t discuss the storage requirements. I have a persistent volume (PV) of 100G however the awx-demo project wasn’t starting due to the persistent volume claim (PVC) not finding any suitable storage.

I found the issue. My ‘storage-pv’ has the Access Mode configured as RWX, ReadWriteMany.

Upon checking the requirements of the web-demo PVC, it is looking for RWO, ReadWriteOnce storage. I created a second 20G PV with RWO and the demo started successfully.
