# Should ec2\_asg required load\_balancers?

Hey all,

Should the ec2\_asg module require the definition of load balencers? It seems the EC2 API does not require this, and it would be perfectly legitimate to make an autoscalling group that was scaling for workload, not for routed traffic (so to speak).

Would it be possible to remove this constraint?

I would agree it should not be required.
