# SCM inventory vars not importing into AWX/AAP

Had anyone had issues importing SCM inventory file vars into AAP/AWX? Our inventory has about 3k lines that look similar to the following.

[hostname.example.com](http://hostname.example.com) ansible\_host=“10.10.10.10” \_awx\_description=“10.10.10.10 – Cisco\_Catalyst\_38xx\_stack”

I’m able to see \_awx\_description show up fine, however, ansible\_host doesn’t show up at all.
