Hi all,

Just wanted to share a quick reminder note for new users about the announce list, which is used for release announcements and event news only:

And also the development list, which is used to discuss work on the upcoming release, code internals, and so on. This is the list to be used for design discussions about pending features. (We do not really like discussion on github tickets as much as much less people get to be involved in the discussion):

You may be interested in joining both or just one. I would highly recommend the devel list if you are a pull request contributor or want to be.
