# Release Announcement : Cisco IOS 11.5.1

Hey Everyone! 👋

We’ve now rolled out `cisco.ios` **\*\*11.5.1\*\***

The changes in this include:

- **\*\*Bugfix:\*\*** ios\_acls - Corrected port to protocol mapping for port 5001 and 5002

- **\*\*Bugfix:\*\*** ios\_bgp\_address\_family - Added `vpls` as a valid `safi` choice for the `l2vpn` address family configuration

- **\*\*Bugfix:\*\*** ios\_user - Fixed hashed\_password idempotency so re-applying the same type/value pair produces no commands, preventing unnecessary password updates on repeat runs

- **\*\*Bugfix:\*\*** ios\_user - `update_password` and `password_type` are now resolved per aggregate item, allowing each entry to independently override module-level defaults

- **\*\*Bugfix:\*\*** terminal - Added `% IPv6 routing not enabled` to `terminal_stderr_re` so configuring BGP IPv6/VPNv6 address-family without `ipv6 unicast-routing` correctly raises an error

- **\*\*Docs:\*\*** ios\_user - Clarified `update_password` behavior and documented type 9 (scrypt) as a valid hash type for `hashed_password`
