Release announcement: [Partner Certification Checker](https://github.com/ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker) GitHub workflow v5.0.0 has been released. 🎉

**Major Changes:**

- Set Python 3.12 as the target Python version in the sanity matrix for each ansible-core stable branch. Previously, sanity tests ran against all Python versions supported by each ansible-core version. This change aligns the checker with downstream Execution Environments, which only ship Python 3.12.

**Minor Changes:**

- certification-reusable.yml - Auto-detect `requires_ansible` from `meta/runtime.yml` and filter the sanity test matrix to skip unsupported ansible-core versions. Add `skip-sanity-versions` input to override auto-detection when needed ([Allow collections to run sanity test checks that align with supported minimum versions · Issue #103 · ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker · GitHub](https://github.com/ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker/issues/103)).

See the full [changelog](https://github.com/ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker/blob/main/CHANGELOG.rst#v500).

If you run the `certification.yml` workflow in your repository, please update the following line to call v5.0.0:

```auto
uses: ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker/.github/workflows/certification-reusable.yml@v5.0.0
```

If you don’t run the workflow, please consider using it to ensure you’ll catch and fix errors before submitting your collection to Automation Hub. Please read the [installation guide](https://github.com/ansible-collections/partner-certification-checker/blob/main/README.md#quick-start) for details.
