# Random \<ansible hostvar name\> is undefined error

I’m running ansible 2.2.0, and getting these weird varialbe is undefined errors. I’m getting them on variables i KNOW are in hostvars, such as ansible\_\_powershell\_version on a windows node.

I know there was some chatter about this, is anyone else seeing the same?
