# Pause task taking more

Hi Team,

We have observed that sometimes simple pause tasks take more time.

2023-07-31 02:57:46,826 p=103684 u=test n=ansible | TASK [apache\_cassandra : Pause for 2 minutes for the cluster to form (test)] \*\*\*  
2023-07-31 02:58:22,603 p=265981 u=test n=ansible | Pausing for 120 seconds  
2023-07-31 02:58:22,604 p=265981 u=test n=ansible | (ctrl+C then ‘C’ = continue early, ctrl+C then ‘A’ = abort)^M  
2023-07-31 03:00:22,608 p=103684 u=test n=ansible | ok: [test]
