# override value for awx/settings/defaults.py settings

Hi,

I’d like to change the value for the setting “AWX\_NOTIFICATION\_JOB\_FINISH\_MAX\_RETRY” from [https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/awx/settings/defaults.py](https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/awx/settings/defaults.py)

How can this be done?

Yes you can add that setting using this method [https://github.com/ansible/awx-operator#extra-settings](https://github.com/ansible/awx-operator#extra-settings)
