# NO CREDENTIALS HAVE BEEN CREATED when adding a SCM Repository

Hello AWX Team,

I just installed AWX on Ubuntu OS using Docker Compose.  
I’m able to run adhoc commands on to the server which will be the control node.

I’m now trying to add SCM using git repository and it fails with the error

Try adding a Source Control Credential Type.
