Hello everyone.
Some days ago, I wrote a new module for Ansible. It is called pkgutil and is used for pkgutil under Solaris.
It’s used package management with custom repositories, e.g. OpenCSW. AFAIK there is no other free repository like OpenCSW available, that contains so much software. To use it, you need pkgutil.
The module supports installing, removing and upgrading to the latest version.

I hope it will be included in ansible. I think there is maybe some missing feedback.
If you are using Solaris and you want to use pkgutil, please have a look at my module: [https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/3675](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/3675)

Any feedback is very welcome!

Best regards,
Alex

We have a rather large pull request queue at the moment – a side effect or rather crazy project interest as of late, I’m afraid 🙂

This has not been rejected, so just stay tuned 🙂
