I am developing ec2\_emr module to mimic elastic-mapreduce cli developed by Richard@AWS: [http://aws.amazon.com/developertools/Elastic-MapReduce/2264](http://aws.amazon.com/developertools/Elastic-MapReduce/2264)

Concerns, objections, functionality request? Besides the module development guide on [Ansible Docs](http://docs.ansible.com/developing_modules.html) and trying to stick to the style of other ec2\_\* modules is there anything else do I need to abide?

Nope, just make sure that you use the ec2 common code to handle things like the authentication tokens/etc. and you should be fine. Just send us the pull request when it’s ready.

I'll create a pull request for the security token in the module\_utlis/ec2.py later tonight.
