# Native Jinja2 Types

Hi,

support for native Jinja2 types [1] has been merged to devel. The  
target release is 2.7. The plan was to merge the pull request once  
devel becomes "future 2.7" so we get as much testing as possible.

The feature is disabled by default and needs to be switched on [2]  
before using it. For more information please consult the pull request,  
especially the integration tests part.

If you find any issues please file a bug report so we can polish the  
feature as much as we can.
