# Missing Installation documentation for 18.0.0 on production systems

Hi,

In my opinion there is now working documentation for production use. At least for version 18.0.0.

- Minicube is only for testing purposes.
- The mentioned preferred method is AWX Operator which is marked as alpha on github.
- Using docker compose does not work because of [https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/9552](https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/9552)

And what can you do anyways if you don’t have any kubernetes environment in place?

Can someone help out here?

I run AWX 17.0.1 on Nomad and indeed couldn’t figure out yet how to go to 18.0.0.

Would really appreciate some guidance. I can share the Nomad job spec.
