# Migrate to external database and new host

Hi,

After installing AWX on K3S with an external Postgres database everything runs fine (the web interface works).  
But it is still empty and I want the contents of my current AWX instance to be in the new environment.  
When I drop the awx database in Postgres and do a pg\_restore of the dump of the source database, the web interface does not work anymore.  
I have set all the passwords beforehand to the same as the source.

What am I missing here?

I discovered this thread : [https://github.com/ansible/awx-operator/issues/489](https://github.com/ansible/awx-operator/issues/489) an was able to get it done.  
Added to comments to it
