Hello Community,

The Ansible Community Engineering team is excited to introduce a **Mentorship Program for New Ansible Release Managers**!

Under this initiative, we’ll mentor and train new community members to become Ansible Release Managers. This program is a great opportunity to expand your technical, community, and leadership skills by contributing to a significant project like Ansible.

If building and releasing software excites you, this working group is an excellent place to start. As a mentee, you’ll learn how to:

- Handle the Ansible Community Package release
- Manage the Community Execution Environment (Base and Minimal) release
- Review release pull requests
- Become an active member of the Release Management working group

**Program Details:**

- **Duration:** The program will run for the entire Ansible 12 cycle and the Ansible 13 (pre-release) cycle.
- **Training Mode:** Asynchronous conversations and video chats on Matrix.

**How to Join:**

Ready to get started? Simply join the conversation in the Ansible Release Management Matrix room. You’ll find a welcoming community of like-minded individuals ready to guide you.

Hello! I’m Diya Banerjee and I’m a Computer Science & Engineering graduate. I have hands-on skills in SQL and Python, with a keen interest in Database Management. During my college projects, I got the opportunity to work with Ansible, which gave me practical experience in automation. So, I am eager to join this Ansible Release Management Program to enhance my automation skills and contribute to open-source development.
