In case you have connection problems to Matrix and are wondering why, it seems that the official [Matrix.org](http://Matrix.org) homeserver is down. I couldn’t find any information on it except [https://status.matrix.org/](https://status.matrix.org/), which says “We are in the process of restoring the [matrix.org](http://matrix.org) database from a backup. The [matrix.org](http://matrix.org) homeserver will be offline until this has been completed”.

The [matrix.org](http://matrix.org) homeserver seems to be back, at least I was able to connect and it has been working for the last ~35 minutes.
