My goal is to fail _all_ hosts when a run\_once, delegated task fails. In my specific case there was an ssh failure to the delegated host. I’ve simplified my playbook to the following:

FWIW, this is fixed in 2.0.2.0 RC1 (thanks James!):

commit 2248b882c1c9ff79498db307938ed6f00137845b
Author: James Cammarata

Make sure run\_once tasks also set any\_errors\_fatal so all hosts fail

Currently implemented only in the linear strategy (free strategy simply
ignores run\_once/BYPASS\_HOST\_LOOP actions).

Fixes #14252
