# Issue with AWX 1.0.2.0 with projects

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get AWX RPM to work, I found the howtoforge page

How to Install Ansible AWX on CentOS 7

I am using CentOS 7.5 and have installed mrmeee-awx repo. I can log in, I can create hosts, I can create projects, users, and so on.

If I press the start an SCM update, nothing. In fact, I can’t get anything from the github repo.

I was able to get create a project using manual, and going created the directory and owning to awx:awx and place a playbook under it. I can see that playbook until templates, but doesn’t seem to run the job.

Is there an issue with 1.0.2.0? I don’t see any want to update to the latest.

Does someone have any update info that can get me out of this hell.

Take a peek at the AWX install documentation and try the latest version of awx (1.0.8): [https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/INSTALL.md](https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/INSTALL.md)

It sounds like whatever article you’re reading is outdated - awx 1.0.2 was published last December.
