# Is there a future for AWX?

@jpmens Are you asking about the `awx.awx` _collection_? This is on my list of [possibly unmaintained collections in Ansible 13](https://forum.ansible.com/t/44873) and there’s also a [possibly unmaintained collection: awx.awx](https://forum.ansible.com/t/44706) thread.

It looks like there’s a [lot of work being done in the repo](https://github.com/ansible/awx/commits/devel/). But no new release yet. I don’t understand 🤷

I’m with you there, I’d also like to know more about the current state of awx collection.
