# Inventory creation for Normal User

Hi,

I have allowed my team to use already defined templates in AWX.  
All the members are logging as LDAP users and upon logging, they get assigned to a specific team.

Now, these users can see the Templates, projects, inventories which I have granted permission.

But these users can not create new inventories. Is there any way to provide them this right?  
If they will not be able to create inventory they won’t be able to specify their host; where they want to execute the template.

Also, whatever one Normal User is creating should not be visible to other users.

Is there any solution for this?  
I searched a lot but nothing as of now.

I don’t know if it’s possible to create an inventory that isn’t visible to other users in the same team / organization. To let users create inventories, from the [tower security docs](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible-tower/latest/html/userguide/security.html#necessary-permissions-to-edit-job-templates), it seems like all you’d have to do is give the user/team the organization level role Inventory Admin to create new inventories.

Go to Teams \>\> Permissions \>\> + \>\> Organizations \>\> \>\> Choose Inventory Admin from Dropdown \>\> Save.

Note that this method lets the user/team edit and use other teams’ (within the same Organization) Inventories. You can do the same to add Job Templates and Projects.

Hi Uriel,  
Thanks for response.  
I tried this but I am not able to find Organizations tab in permission for team. I am getting all other tab like tempalte, Inventory etc but not Organizations.  
Could you please let me know why I am not seeing that?

We recently added the Organizations tab to that permission view (it was a bug), so you’ll need to upgrade to get it. You _can_ still apply it at the API level.
