Are you able to use the [awx.awx](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/collections/awx/awx/index.html) Collection, and run Ansible locally to push the changes to your AWX?

There’s a similar topic [here](http://forum.ansible.com/t/connect-to-api-ansible-awx/3717) where I show how to create an inventory. You could then use [awx.awx.host](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/collections/awx/awx/host_module.html#ansible-collections-awx-awx-host-module) module to create the hosts in the inventories that you created.
