# How to Backup/Restore AWX

Hi

I’ve installed **AWX 4.0.0** using the instructions available here:

This uses **virtualenv** rather than **docker**.

I don’t seem able to identify some clear instructions to backup/restore the whole environment. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
