# How to avoid AWX starting from boot?

Please, I have installed AWX (16.0.0) for lab purposes in my Laptop and I would like to know how to disable its docker compose instances starting from boot. I would like to handle it manually via start & stop scripts.

if all you are running in docker is awx, then just disable the docker service from starting automatically.
