Hi, I already use ansible (CLI ) to minimize my admin work. I have some workable vmware related playbook, and also some workable JT in AWX.

I am studying the possibility to have my vmware related playbook working with awx. Yes, I know it is still not possible to use vcenter credential now ([https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/737](https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/737)). But when i read the document, vmware\_guest\_module ([http://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/vmware\_guest\_module.html](http://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/vmware_guest_module.html)) requires to use “delegate\_to: localhost”. But AFAIK, ansible will ssh to localhost, ie, it should ssh into awx\_task itself. However, the docker image does not include sshd.

Thus, my question is “how awx support “delegate\_to: localhost?”” container mode AWX will be different from host mode AWX.

Btw, I think this issue ([https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/724](https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/724)) is also related.
