Hi

I’m sorry if this has already been answered/solved, I couldn’t find it.

We have a workflow with a first job template that gathers a lot of information and passes it defining variables through set\_stats so they can be used by the rest of the job templates in the workflow. The issue we face is that, if there is a password, it is shown in plain text in the “artifacts” box.

When we gather it and when we use it in the job templates it can be hidden with a no\_log in the task. If we enter it in the survey, it is hidden in the extravars box, too. But I can’t find a way to prevent it from appearing as plain text in the artifacts box. Is there such a way? Are you aware of any plans on doing such thing?

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Ana

Hi!

That is currently not possible within AWX, but it’s a neat idea. I’d encourage you to open a feature request on AWX github, so that it can eventually be looked at there.
