# Help to create new repo under https://github.com/ansible-collections/

Hi All,

Can you please share me the detailed procedure on how to create new repo under [Ansible Collections · GitHub](https://github.com/ansible-collections/)

My intention is to publish new collection in galaxy and maintain the code under [Ansible Collections · GitHub](https://github.com/ansible-collections/)

According to [Requesting a community collection repository](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/community/communication.html#requesting-a-community-collection-repository) it looks like you have to create a topic in the Project Discussions category and add the `coll-repo-request` tag. I’m not sure if you have to create a new one or can move this one to the other category, though 🤷

BTW if you create a new topic (or are able to move this one) I think you should give some more information about the collection.
