# help about win\_find

i’m trying to find one file into a folder with recursive option but it returns to result .  
when i put the exact path of the file , it sucess  
can someone help me 🙂

below my success code

- name: “search folder to copy”  
win\_find:  
paths: C:\xXXXX\YYYY\1\Software  
patterns: “myZipfile.zip”  
use\_regex: no  
**recursive: yes**  
file\_type: file  
register: allfiles  
failed\_when: false

below the one which fails

- name: “search folder to copy”  
win\_find:  
paths: C:\xXXXX\YYYY  
patterns: “myZipfile.zip”  
use\_regex: no  
**recursive: yes**
