I posted an Ansible bug on GitHub a year ago and still have not seen anyone provide a resolution aside from acknowledging an issue exists. Since Ansible seems to be releasing new updates every so often, how can I request neglected bugs be resolved or at least I be provided an answer why a change wasn’t implemented?

It would probably help if you provided a link to the Github issue.

In general, unless a bug is affecting a lot of people, the fix is immediately obvious, or a PR is provided, an issue is probably just going to sit there. There are currently 3,882 open issues, and only around 20 full-time devs (as well as volunteer community members).
