# gcp\_compute\_instance\_template metadata

Can’t figure out how to supply the properties.metadata key/value data for the gcp\_compute\_instance\_template playbook module using 2.8. Everything seems to be ignored. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m one of the engineers working on the GCP modules.

We just had a [PR](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/56793) merged in that should fix that!
