# Galaxy-NG update/upgrade

Hello,

I’m currently using Galaxy-NG version 4.9.0 installed using this documentation ([Installation - Galaxy NG](https://ansible.readthedocs.io/projects/galaxy-ng/en/latest/usage_guide/installation/)).

As my collections are stored in the container image and not in a separate volume, how can I update my installation to 4.9.2 without losing my data?
