Is there a meta-forum where this would fit better?

I’m using Version 117.0.5938.88 (Official Build) (64-bit) of Chrome on Fedora, and the header-menu buttons don’t seem to be clickable. I’ve tried deleting cookies w/o any effect. In Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit) the page works.

You could search for this issue on [the main Discourse forum](https://meta.discourse.org/) and create a post there if there isn’t already a thread about it?

I’ve moved this to our #Forum Guide & Feedback category, that seems a better fit.

I’ve not hit this on **Chromium** but I’ll check Chrome when I have a moment. Can you clarify the “header menu” comment? Are we talking about the Home and Search buttons or something else?

Yes, I’m referring to the home, search and profile buttons, as well as the “Got It”! button within the popups.

The burger menu is also not reacting.

Just solved it by emptying the cache and hard reloading the page from the Chrome Dev Tools menu as suggested in [https://nira.com/chrome-clear-cache/#:~:text=Here’s%20how%20to%20clear%20the,Windows%2C%20Linux%2C%20and%20Chromebooks.&text=Click%20Empty%20Cache%20and%20Hard,%2C%20and%20you’re%20done](https://nira.com/chrome-clear-cache/#:~:text=Here's%20how%20to%20clear%20the,Windows%2C%20Linux%2C%20and%20Chromebooks.&text=Click%20Empty%20Cache%20and%20Hard,%2C%20and%20you're%20done).

Ah! I wonder if its something odd with the tutorial overlay system. I’ll see if I can report it upstream. Thanks!

It seems to be conected to notifications. Looks like there is an invisible image overlay over the whole page when I have new notifications. I can remove it using “inspect element” and “delete element” to make the page react to my inputs again.

Next time it happens I’ll copy the element details and attach them to this thread.

`<img class="preloader-image" src="data:image/svg;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" alt="Ansible">` seems to be the culprit. When I delete the element,'the page works fine.

@mophahr Interesting. I just updated my Chromium to `Version 117.0.5938.92 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit)` and I don’t see this behaviour at all. Are you running any extensions that might be interfering?
