# Feature request: "backup\_dir" parameter in copy module

Hi,

I would like to see a “backup\_dir” parameter for the copy module, where backup files (if the “backup” parameter is “yes”) are created (i.s.o. in the same directory as the dest files). Has this question been brought up before?
