# Execution Enviroment - IAM service account

Hi Everybody!

There is any way of use AWS IAM roles in AWX execution environments ?

I cant find any documentation about this.

The only thing that I found was

spec:  
service\_account\_annotations: |  
[eks.amazonaws.com/role-arn:](http://eks.amazonaws.com/role-arn:) arn:aws:iam::\<ACCOUNT\_ID\>:role/\<IAM\_ROLE\_NAME\>

But it’s not working for me

If i execute an aws sts get-caller-identity in the execution environment, the role that is being assumed is the role of the Kubernetes node
