# (developers) Feature freeze Thursday August 30th for Release September 6th

I'm planning on releasing Ansible 0.7 on (approximately) September  
6th, which is next Thursday.

Feature patches received after August 30th will be held for Ansible 0.8.

(As a reminder, we do monthly releases, so features won't have to wait long)

Bug fix patches will be admitted through the release date, depending  
on time, severity, and complexity.
