# Creating a new plugin in Java

Hi all,

I’m about to start developing a plugin for administering TIBCO Rendezvous Routing Daemons. Unfortunately they don’t have a Python API so I have to do this in Java. I’ve done a few searches and everything seems to say that it’s possible however there doesn’t seem to be a step-by-step guide on how to go about it so hoping someone here can help me. Bear with me if I ask anything stupid as I’m fairly new to Java (although I have plenty of experience in Python).

When configuring in Ansible I would expect it to look something like this:
